Birthdays at the Polynesian
Who doesn’t like celebrating their birthday at Disney? We use to go the end of June through the beginning of July because it was during our Anniversary (June 30) the Fourth of July and my birthday (July 8). You get to wear a button that says its your birthday and everyone says Happy Birthday to you. Sometimes you get free goodies at restaurants and it is just a fun place to be on your birthday. Well did you know you can get stuff in your room like a cake delivered for $15? You can even have your room decorated along with 5 gift boxes and balloons for $395 or book a party at the Neverland Club for your kid for $690 that allows 10 kids to use all the games and activities of the club along with a character visit, pizza and cake. Just some ideas that you maybe didn’t know you could do when celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World.

Thanks for making my site successful
Well I have said it many times and I will say it again. Thank you to everyone who sends in trip reports, tells me about stuff going on at the resort, sends me photos or just sends comments about the resort. I do get to every email and I try and use all the photos and info I get, even if I get behind sometimes. I work hard on the site for all those who read it and use it to help plan their trip. I could never do it for this long without your help. I have so much more I want to do but I spend so much time researching and updating that the new stuff gets put off. Even my trip report from last October is not done but I am trying to make it a good one because it was such a fun trip and I got to see so many people that I don’t want to forget anyone (although I am sure I will).
Well my original site became so popular that it use to be one of the first pages to come up on a Google search. Then in 2009 when I switched over to the new site, the way Google rated my site dropped off the map. Not sure how the whole thing works but I don’t pay for my site to be ranked any better so it is what it is. For a while I would search “Disney Polynesian” and it would not show up at all. Then it was something like 30 pages later it would be there. Then it got better and better. The other day I did a search and it was Page one right after Disney’s own Polynesian page. Depending on the day it goes from page 1 to page 5 but all I can think is it is thanks to those of you who visit my site or tell others to visit it. I’m not on many Discussion forums anymore because they are blocked from work and by the time I am home I just get through my emails so if anyone is posting about my site on there it is you guys spreading the word. Thanks for supporting my site for 13 years now. There are days I think it will be the last year but as long as you all think it is worth visiting I will do my best to keep it going. Also keep up the emails, I enjoy any questions or comments and I do get to every one of them. If I have not responded to you either your email went to my spam (which I try and check) or my response when to your spam. I have also had a handful of emails I have responded to that come back as not able to deliver.
Thanks again for helping me make this site what it is.
