This is somethign they do every so many years to keep the buildings in good shape. This is one of the reasons I have to laugh when people say the Polyensian is looking old and rundown since they replace just about everything every so many years that there is almost nothing left that is original.

The Polyensian also replaces stuff in the rooms and lobby often also. Everything gets a lot of wear from all the people that visit the resort so things get replaced often. Here you can see them bringing in new chairs for the lobby.

I want to thank Betsy from WDW for grown ups for sending me the photos.

On-line Check in

As reported before the Polynesian now has online check in. You can check in online up to 10 days before and check in faster when you arrive. the service allows the guests to provide check-in information, register the names of everyone in their party, advise the hotel of their arrival times and request room preferences (requests are not guaranteed) and provide a credit card for room charges.

There will be a special location at the front desk for on line check in guests and your keys and welcome packets should be ready for you when you get there.

Friends of the Polynesian

One of the best parts of my site for me is the photos I am sent from fans of the Polynesian or people I have met at the resort.
