If you want to enjoy the Kona coffee and don’t have time to sit, go next to the Kona Cafe to the Kona Island. This is a great place to get your favorite coffee drink along with a cookie or muffin.
In 2008 the Kona Island coffee bar started serving Sushi from 5pm 10pm. The sushi is no longer made in front of you at the bar but you can order it or anything else off the Kona Cafe menu. You can also order drinks from Tambu while sitting at Kona Island seating area.
Another new addition to the Island is Shave Ice.You can also ask for Kona Coffee beans to purchase (ground or whole bean).
Kona Island is open from 6:30 am to noon for coffee and pasteries and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm for dinner meals.
